Teacher & Staff Appreciation week is coming up on May 7 – 11 and we are so excited about the opportunity to spoil our amazing staff! We have some great things planned for them, but we need your help.
First, we need you to help provide food for a Soup & Salad Luncheon on May 7, and a BBQ Luncheon with all the “fixin’s” on May 11 (We will provide the bbq, but we need your help with the “fixins”). We also need a few volunteers for each of those days to help with set up and clean up. Please click on the links to sign up to bring an item (or 2) and to help out!

We also want to give you the opportunity to spoil you child’s teachers each day, so we’ve created a schedule. Don’t forget to say thank you to the support staff and specials teachers as well! Remember, even the smallest thank you is appreciated. Please don’t feel the need to break your family budget. Also, all teachers have a list of their likes posted on the school website.
We hope to create an amazing week for our teachers! They certainly deserve it as we have the best. We definitely have the greatest staff on earth.
I know, I know. It’s boring. You have to push a lot of buttons. You have four kids and your click finger gets tired. I get it.
But the thing is, it’s required. And doing it online is WAAYYYYY easier than paper (hand cramps, anyone?)
And it really only takes a few minutes. I just registered both my girls as I popped dinner in my mouth before hockey practice. You do have to be on an actual computer and not a phone, but other than that, it’s easy peasy.

I’m always better at doing things when I understand the reason, so I thought I’d take a minute to explain why this is important to me, and should be important to you:
The County bases the number of teachers and staff on this registration. So even if the school is 99% sure your kid is coming back next year, if you haven’t registered they are not “counted”. If enough of these kids are not counted, the county thinks we need less teachers than we actually do.
If your kid has ever been in one of those classes at the beginning of the year who then has to split because a new teacher had to be hired after school starts, you know that isn’t fun.
Online Registration closes May 11.
Basic Registration: $60 for first camper, $25 for each additional sibling
Premium Registraion” $90 for first camper, $55 for each additional sibling (include poms and a bow)
Parents night out: $25 first camper, $10 each additional sibling (non campers will be $35 for the first participant and, $15 each additional sibling)
We are so excited about Cheetahfest 2018! The theme for this year’s Cheetahfest is “Under the Big Top” and we are planning all kinds of exciting things for the event.
Cheetahfest is Friday, April 6, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Kids can play endless games with an admission bracelet (Bungee Trampoline and Face Painting are not included with admission – tickets to this item is $2 each and can be added to your order or purchased at the event). Bracelets are $10 for preorder or $12 at the door! Adults do not need an admission bracelet. Kids under 2 are admitted free.

NOTE: It seems the way we originally had wristbands and tickets set up on our online store was confusing. You had to choose the number of wristbands (for entry) and tickets (for face painting and/or bungee jumping) before you added the item to the cart. Several of you skipped this step and thus “bought” tickets for zero dollars. We have tried to communicate to everyone who did this that you will need to re-purchase the wristbands again since you did not pay anything for them. We apologize for any confusion and have separated the items from each other to make it more clear when ordering. BUT PLEASE NOTE: YOU NEED A WRISTBAND FOR EACH CHILD TO ATTEND CHEETAHFEST. TICKETS ARE ONLY FOR THE EXTRA COST ITEMS (Face painting and bungee jumping). PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS WITHOUT A WRISTBAND.
Cheetahfest is Friday April 6th. We need donations of individually packaged food to sell. These can be homemade, but need to be individually wrapped (2 brownies/cookies per bag, rice krispy treats, etc). We need these items brought to school the morning of April 6th. Thank you!!
