Grey Ghost 5k Registration is Open!!

Grey Ghost sign ups are open and the 5k price will increase after this week! You can sign up online or send paper copy to school with the fee!!  This is a PE fundraiser, as the PE department will receive the race fee! Chapman’s Retreat has won the trophy for the past two years for most participation and we would love to keep it for a third year!

Anyone can sign up under Chapman’s Retreat, so make sure to tell tell your friends and family who may not be affiliated with a school to sign up under CRES! Parents and siblings count as well!

Join our PTO!

The CRES PTO is a group of volunteers whose goal is to provide a link between the parents, teachers, and staff.  Your membership in the PTO is vital to the success of Chapman’s Retreat Elementary School.   

Your membership, should you choose to join, helps pay for activities such as outdoor movie night, savings for a new track and many different resources for students.  Paid PTO membership is NOT required to be involved in volunteer activities, but is greatly appreciated to help us cover necessary budget items throughout the year.  Together we can all make a difference at CRES!  You can purchase PTO membership online or by sending in $25 in a  sealed envelope marked “PTO Membership” with your child’s name, grade and teacher listed.  Thank you in advance for your support.

New Spirit Wear Ordering Open Until Sept 13!!!

We are so excited to have a new spirit wear design to sell for this year. We are offering the design in a short sleeve t-shirt, long sleeve t-shirt, pull over hoodie and zip up hoodie.  You may choose from three colors for each shirt.

We are handling the ordering differently this year….you may only place orders online through the company’s website.  We will not be ordering extra or keeping stock of the new shirts.  We will not be accepting paper order forms.

You may order shirts now through September 13. Orders will be delivered 3-4 weeks after the deadline. You can order now by clicking here!

Tier 3 Badge Creation Day

Hi parents!  Once you have completed the process to become a Tier 3 volunteer (and your information has been received by the school) you are able to get a volunteer badge! Our first badge creation day of this school year will be Thursday, August 31 from 9 – 10:30 a.m.  If you cannot make this date, other dates will be available in the future.

If you would like to have a badge made, please sign up for one of the time slots on our sign up page.  You must have a time slot in order to get a badge made.

Once again your name has to be on the list that the school receives from the Williamson county school board.  This process can take a few weeks after you complete the background check.

Volunteers needed for the first full week of Kindergarten

We need a few volunteers to help during the first week of Kindergarten.  These are about 1 hour slots for either classroom help (8:35am-9:45am) or lunch room help (11:55am-12:55pm).  You do not have to have a Kindergarten student to help out.  Thank you in advance! (It’s typically best if this is done by non-Kindergarten parents.)

Cafeteria Positions Available! (Volunteers needed until positions filled.)

We have two openings for Cafeteria positions at the school. One of the positions is full time (7 hrs. with benefits) and the other is part time. Please share this opportunity with anyone you know who might be interested in these positions.

Also, the school could use any help from parents in the cafeteria until we get people hired. Please let us know if you are able to volunteer during the day in the cafeteria.
